Survey of Types of Terrariums

Articles brought to you by Cheap Terrariums for Sale
Although the usual type of that most people think of when they see the word ‘terrarium’ is a plant terrarium or perhaps a reptile terrarium, there are a variety of different terrarium types that can be set up. They can be made to simulate different natural conditions by careful control of the light, heat and humidity. They also vary greatly in size from a tiny one foot cube to a huge showcase in a museum and every size imaginable in between! For reptile terrariums a two foot cube would be big enough for turtles or small snakes, a tiny lizard only needs a small one square foot home.

For a beginner it is best to stick to one species only in your reptile terrarium as some species may not live together comfortably or may even make a meal of each other.

Types of Terrrariums
