Picked this guy up from the Montreal Reptile Expo March 9th. He is really cute, but his tank isn’t ready yet. Please give me some tips with these guys because i have only dealt with Crested geckos and Leaf tail geckos.

You have to use sand but be careful with that sometimes it isn’t good for them!! and then build a hole, and a background where he can climb… also use a bigger tank^^
and i didn’t understand (im german^^) but 24 degree is too cold !! it must be 30- 40 degree ( i have 35 degree in mine and it works very well) good luck and nice gecko i like hybinos and carrot tails I’m going to get 2 new female tremper^^

SWEET GECKO!!
I have been using sand because i dont feed crickets, only hand feed mealworms. He seems to like it, always digging and mixing up the setup :p I know impaction is possible however only when they lunge for crickets and over time, the sand builds up in their intestine.
You should see her now! This was when he was 2 months old. Now he is fluorescent.
Very different, these have more basic care however has polar opposite requirements than the uroplatus and rhacodactylus which have similarities.
sub for sub man?
your good so far. Get a lamp for basking get a log or drift wood for the basking spot. dont get sand which will cause impaction and kill your gecko!!!!!
if you had a leaf tail and a crested, having a leo should be a synch
Lol now he is much bigger but this video is when he was a month old.
very nice hybino he is going to be bright coloured when he is bigger you should enter him in contests and stuff like that
mine is 1 month and he is waayyyyyyyyyyyy smaller then yours it has to be at least 2-3 months
dude, then make the vid. when ur finished “making it more natural”
The tank has been updates since April 11th. My little guy is now quite large. He has a coconut shell hide in the back left corner. An exo-terra heat pad underneath. The substrate is black exo-terra volcanic sand, a uva uvb lamp. I also placed two succulent plants in unpotted which i hope manage to survive along with his water dish. The moist shed only goes in when he is about to shed which becomes evident when his colouration becomes pale. Thanks for commenting i will upload an update soon!
dude tht tank would of been fine if you put some hides in it. and a heatlamp on top to get the temps up. and cover the 3 sides dnt use grantie rocks use like a lino floor or something u can get likke grantie colors
lovely looking gettin 2 female to go with my male
dude, this video was taken the day i got him and i stated that in the video. He is now in a 18×18x18 exo terra desert starter kit.
dude he dont have shit no hide no water dish no calcium dish no food dish nothing to climb on
im going to eventually upgrade to granite or slate
dont use sand
